Our mission

Access to Political Practice for Minnesota Youth

We offer interactive, off-the-record seminars on political practice and civic engagement. Each seminar is limited to 15–20 high school students.

Participants include Blake students and students from high schools across the Twin Cities who want to engage in Minnesota civic life. Students from anywhere on the political spectrum are welcome.

No political experience is required.

How it works

    Apply

    Complete a short interest form. Tell us what draws you to Minnesota civic life. Any high school student in Minnesota is eligible to apply for our seminars. We aim to give as many different students as possible the opportunity to participate—no political experience is required.

    Attend

    Join 15–20 students for an interactive seminar where political practitioners can speak candidly and off the record. You can also sign up for our newsletter to get updates on the next speaker.

  3. 03

    Act

    Carry what you learn here into your school and community, and find your own way to participate in Minnesota civic life.
